Autumn Equinox is the time of the great harvest festival, when grains are gathered, and day and night are in perfect balance. Fish and water birds were sacred to ancient cultures, in part because their migrations signaled the turning of the year, first toward winter, then toward summer. Original design ©Sid Reger.
Poem by Tonia Mathew on back:
A word to carry
from the labyrinth's center
through winter's darkness.
